At night, she overhears an argument between John and Ryan and orders Super to leave her house, but Super doesn't let her pass and asks her what she will do when Ryan finds out that she lied to him and imprisoned him. She forbids him from telling his son about it, and Homelander tells her that he has no intention of leaving or even bothering to bring up his afternoon's discussion with the Vought official. Homelander would eventually leave.
Later, while playing with Ryan, he gets a surprise visit from Homelander accompanied by Stormfront, whom he introduces as his girlfriend. She joins her son who Stormfront tells only about his powers, to the displeasure of Becky, who tells her to stop and then asks her to warn her before he comes. Stormfront replies that Homelander is his father and has the right to see his son.
John walks in and apologizes for showing up unannounced and tells Becky that he'll be there longer and they'll be like a real family. Ryan shows them the stop motion footage he made of his mom's favorite movies. He then watches helplessly as Stormfront brainwashes his son Ryan. She tries to restrain her son and demands to speak to John in private.

Left alone, Homelander compares his life to his son's, but Becca disagrees because unlike him, he has a mother and she lies to him to protect him and give him the childhood John didn't have. He's super approving. At night, while cooking, she goes into the garden where she discovers that Homelander and Stormfront have shown her son the outside world. He must face his son's wrath and his kidnapping by Homelander and Stormfront, who intend to raise him as their own son.
Becca escapes during the night to join Butcher. She tells him that her son has been kidnapped. Frenchi, Kimiko Miyashiro and Mother's Milk take good care of her. She asks if they are close to Billy and Mother's Milk tells her that they are as close as possible. Billy tells him that he hasn't found anything on Ryan so far and is continuing his investigation.

She arms herself to go with them, but Billy objects for fear of putting her in danger. Leaving him no choice, Becca makes him promise to bring Ryan back to her at any cost so Ryan doesn't turn into Homelander, which Butcher does. Becca goes with Billy to the cabin to pick up Ryan, who she puts on noise-cancelling headphones and then takes him with them.

He gets out of the car when he realizes there is a problem. Billy tells her he made a deal with Stan Edgar to get Ryan back, but Billy cuts it for her. He tells her to leave without him because he's afraid he'll make an example of Ryan and not risk hurting Ryan again. A tearful Becca reluctantly agrees, kisses him and gets into the car with her breast milk.
However, they are only a few feet away when Stormfront attacks them and flips the car over. Billy helps him and brings Ryan back, and then they run off into the woods together. They are caught by Stormfront who comes to take Ryan away. Becca steps between her and Ryan and pokes her in the eye. Stormfront then grabs her by the neck and slowly chokes her. Billy tries to help her to no avail and Ryan accidentally uses his powers against Stormfront. Super lets her go, but Becca is seriously injured.
She hears Ryan crying apologetically. She tells Billy it's not Ryan's fault and tells him he's nice. She asks him to get her son to safety before he succumbs to injury.
Becca was sweet and loving. She was full of kindness towards others. Becca was also a loving and protective mother to her son Ryan, for whom she sacrificed part of her life so that he would grow up in the best conditions and not be another Vought asset. This fourth episode feels a bit like another season premiere, as they mostly start from scratch, and all of our heroes and villains are placed in new emotional places. This episode shows us once again that this second season of the show is more about giving our characters emotional arcs than making any kind of social commentary for the audience, like the first one did (which, in a way, it still does).
