Bradley A. Thayer - Aaron and his wife Deana came to Mount Vernon in June 2008. They have four children: Rachel, Jonah, Natalie and Tori. They moved to Atlanta from Louisville, KY after Aaron completed his Master of Divinity in Biblical and Theological Studies and his PhD. in American Church History from Southern Seminary.
Brad is from Morristown, a small town in East Tennessee. He grew up in a Christian home. He graduated from Boyce College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2006. Prior to earning his BA, he completed an A.S. in agricultural affairs from Walter State Community College. He and his wife Candace were married in 2003 and have four children: Olivia, Eva, Nadia and Greyson. Brad serves as associate pastor/administration overseeing the church's operations, finances, facilities, and other general pastoral duties.

Dustin grew up in Lampasas, Texas. He became a Christian as a student at Angelo State University. After college, Dustin spent a year working as a math teacher and then attended Southern Seminary in Louisville. After the seminar, he spent two more years teaching mathematics before moving to Atlanta and taking a position as a scholarship administrator at Georgia State University. Dustin joined the MVBC staff in 2014 and serves as an associate/equipment pastor overseeing family ministry, membership, and adult education. He and his wife, Jaime, have three sons: Nathaniel, Timothy and Daniel, and a daughter, Annie.

Jeffrey is from Sandy Springs. He grew up in a Christian home. Lui graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2018. Prior to earning his M.Div., Lui completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from the University of Georgia. Jeffrey is currently working on a PhD. in the Old Testament by Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Jaynie were married in 2017. Jeffrey serves as an assistant pastor/missions and oversees missions, evangelism, and church ministry at other churches.
Zack grew up in a Christian home in South Florida. He came to faith at the age of ten under the preaching of faithful pastors. Zack studied finance at Anderson University and worked in business for several years. After college, he and his wife Erin were members of Mount Vernon for three years before moving to Winston-Salem to found Emmanuel Church. In recent years, Zack has completed his M.Div. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also working on a Ph.D. in the history of the Church. Zack returned to Atlanta in 2021 to join the Mount Vernon staff. He is married to Erin and they have two children: Ezra and Ada.
Jim grew up near Decatur, GA and became a Christian while attending Briarcliff Baptist Church. He received his BSHS and MBA from Georgia Tech. He and his wife Terry have been members of Mount Vernon since the late 1980s. Prior to joining the MVBC staff in 2018, Jim worked in banking, tax and accounting. Terry and Jim have two grown children.
Hannah grew up in Canton, Georgia and became a Christian in high school. She graduated from Georgia College & State University in 2021 with a BBA in Management and a certification in Nonprofit Management. Hannah serves as director of children's ministry, helping Mount Vernon partner with parents to show the next generation the way of Christ.

Daniele lived in St. Peters Missouri until high school when his family moved to Marietta, Georgia. He attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy. While in college, Daniel was actively involved in Campus Outreach, where he met his wife, Chelsea. After graduation, they got married and moved to Singapore to minister among students. After returning to Metro-Atlanta in 2015, they became members of Mount Vernon. Daniel worked as a Certified Home Inspector until he joined the staff as Director of Operations and Facilities in 2021. He and Chelsea have three children: Remy, Mack and Winona.
Madison is from Peachtree City, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters in Education. Madison and her husband Joseph live in Dunwoody, Georgia.
Darius was born in Smyrna and raised in Dallas, GA. He attended Boyce College and Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees in Biblical and Theological Studies. During this time, he also met his wife, Julia, and shortly after returning to Georgia, they were married in 2020.
Jena was born in Key West, Florida and moved to Atlanta a few months later. She became a Christian at a young age and God gave her the love to serve children and their families. Jena joined Mount Vernon in 2010. She is a full time seamstress and lives in Lilburn with her three rescue dogs.
